In a thrilling Carabao Cup final clash, Virgil van Dijk emerged as the hero for Liverpool, scoring a crucial header in the 118th minute of extra time to secure a 1-0 victory over Chelsea. This remarkable triumph marks Liverpool's record-extending 10th title in the Carabao Cup.


The intense showdown saw both teams hitting the woodwork and having goals disallowed for offside, adding to the suspense of the match. Van Dijk's decisive goal came from a corner delivered by Kostas Tsimikas, settling the fate of the game in favor of the Reds.
