In a rousing speech at Rudrapur, Uttarakhand, Prime Minister Narendra Modi kicked off his election campaign ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Addressing a massive gathering, Modi referred to Uttarakhand as 'Devbhumi' and 'Mini India', appreciating the overwhelming turnout for their support. He showcased the significant development in Uttarakhand under the BJP government, citing advancements in housing, sanitation, and water supply that surpassed the achievements of the previous 65 years.

Modi's speech painted a vision of further development and opportunity for Uttarakhand, especially appealing to the youth and promising to support their aspirations. He criticized the Congress party, accusing it of seeking to lead the country towards instability and inciting unrest. Modi condemned the Congress for disrespecting the late Bipin Rawat and for its role in historical issues like the division of the country and the loss of Guru Nanak Ji's birthplace.

The Prime Minister also highlighted his government's achievements in implementing One Rank, One Pension (OROP), benefiting soldiers' families across the country, including in Uttarakhand. He pledged continued action against corruption, promising a decisive crackdown in his potential third term. Modi appealed for strong support for the BJP in the upcoming elections, emphasizing the slogan "Phir Ek Baar Modi Sarkar! 4 June… 400 Paar!" and urging voters to spread his message of respect and development throughout Uttarakhand. His speech underscored a commitment to unprecedented work and significant decisions in the next five years, seeking a mandate to further strengthen his governance.
