A new study involving nearly 400,000 healthy adults in the U.S. over 20 years suggests that taking #multivitamins daily does not lower the risk of death. Published in #JAMA Network Open by researchers from the National Cancer Institute, the study aimed to clarify the benefits of regular multivitamin use, a common practice among #Americans hoping to boost health.

Despite previous mixed findings, this extensive analysis found no link between daily multivitamin use and reduced mortality from any cause, including #cancer and heart disease. The research accounted for various factors like demographics and lifestyle, which could influence results.

The study underscores that while many take multivitamins for #health benefits, evidence supporting their role in longevity remains inconclusive. Future research may focus on specific populations with nutritional deficiencies or explore multivitamins' impact on other age-related health conditions.
